Freedive Course (AIDA) - Bali

DiveArts Academy, in partnership with one of the best freedive centers in Amed, Bali, offers an exceptional freedive course. Train in the stunning waters of Amed with top instructors under the guidance of Yoram Zekri, the French World Freedive Champion. This course, suitable for all skill levels, provides AIDA certification, recognized worldwide in the freediving community.

AIDA 1 – Initiation Day

You will learn the basic theory of Freediving and how to prepare yourself for a breath-hold dive including breathing, duck dive, finning, buddying and basic safety techniques. If you are a beginner interested in a new activity, this is the perfect initiation day!

✅ Requirements: 12 yo & above (Parent consent for under 18 yo), be able to swim

AIDA 2 – Open Water Freediver

To become a certified AIDA 2 star freediver you will be required to perform a 2 minute breath-hold, swim 40 m underwater with fins and dive to 12m in open water. The correct skills and techniques will be taught throughout the course to assist you in achieving these goals.
🗓 2 days – 2 pool sessions + 3 open water sessions
✅ Requirements: 16 yo & above, be able to swim

AIDA 3 – Intermediate Freediver

To become a certified AIDA 3 star freediver you will be required to perform a 2 minute 45 breath-hold, swim 55 m underwater with fins and dive to 24m in the open water.
🗓 4 days – 2 pool sessions + 4 open water sessions
✅ Requirements: 16 yo & above, be able to swim, have completed AIDA 2

AIDA 4 – Advance Freediver / Assistant Instructor

To become a certified AIDA 4 star freediver you will be required to perform a 3 minute 30 breath-hold, swim 70 m underwater with fins and dive to 32m in the open water.
🗓 4 days – 3 theory sessions + 2 pool sessions + 4 open water sessions
✅ Requirements: 16 yo & above, be able to swim, have completed AIDA 3

AIDA Instructor – Make Your Passion Your Career

You will learn how to teach freediving, to develop and improve your technical skills as a role model and learn more safety skills. AIDA Freediving Instructor is a professional status, recognized worldwide. To become a certified AIDA Instructor, you will be required to perform a 4 minute breath-hold, swim 90m underwater with fins and dive to 40m in the open water.
🗓 9 days – 3 theory sessions + 2 pool sessions + 4 open water sessions
✅ Requirements: 16 yo & above, be able to swim, have completed AIDA 4
