SSI Mermaid Course
LEVELS
- It is the basic level of certification within the SSI mermaid program.

- SSI Ocean Mermaid certification equips mermaids with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and effectively perform in ocean environments.
The Mermaid Explorer course is for children only. This course will teach them the fundamentals of mermaiding, swimming and posing with mermaid fins or monofins, how to hold breath longer underwater, and more.
This will be a fun learning experience for them and a unique activity that they will remember during their vacation. Mermaid swimming is also a great exercise for the whole body.
Lastly, they get to live out their childhood dreams as young as 6 years old. Once they get certified, they can truly say that they are a real-life mermaid.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of age.
- All mermaids must be able to complete a 12m swim independently.
- Personal swim goggles are highly recommended.
- Mermaid tail and monofin rental will be provided

This is a fun and very complete program for you to obtain your certification, you will learn to move in the water with comfort and confidence, using your monofin and your mermaid tail, learn about the equipment, basic apnea techniques and what is our mission as mermaids Welcome to our world, ready for fun?
- This program has a duration of 1-2 days
- Everything is done in confined water
- Include 3 sessions in the water
- Have the ability to swim at least 50 meters (one round-trip Olympic pool)
- Minimum age 12 years
- Know how to float
- It is not necessary to have used a monofin mermaid tail before

Do you want amazing photos or videos of yourself being a mermaid or merman? This Program teaches you the skills and concept required to succesfully interact with an underwater photo- or videographer to capture amazing mermaid photos and videos. You will earn the SSI Model mermaid certification.

To get to this course you have to have successfully crossed the Mermaid program.
In this program you will test all the skills learned in your Mermaid program and you will acquire others so that you can use your equipment safely in open waters, if you listened well you can do it at sea and be part of this wonderful environment as always you dreamed it
